Hidden Valleys of SW Wisconsin

Richland County

Located halfway between La Crosse and Madison, Richland County is a land of steeply wooded hillsides and lush valleys in an unglaciated area of southwestern Wisconsin. Richland County showcases an abundance of hardwood forests offering the backroad enthusiast a beautiful vista of fall color.

Among the many highlights visitors enjoy are festivals, fishing, canoeing, biking, hiking, and Amish settlements.

Orchards and farms offer locally made produce for every season including strawberries, apples, grapes, and cherries. Honey, molasses, and maple syrup are also available.
